Fireplaces are the center piece of many living rooms. They can be vented vertically or sideways or possibly not vented at all. Some fireplaces are masonry and some are metal. Fireplaces can be hand made or pre-fabricated. Fireplaces may have gas logs installed. Some gas logs must be vented some do not have to be vented
