Grew up on the construction site When I was very young my playground was the home building job site. My father built custom homes in the 50's and 60's. When I became big enough to handle tools my father would assign me to work as a helper for all the master tradesman that worked for him; masons, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, pipe fitters, etc. I would dig ditches, fetch wood, pull wire, cut pipe, what ever a apprentice would do, I did! My day could start digging a trench in the morning for a plumber and in the afternoon be cutting wood for framing. From these experiences I have aquired a genuine understanding of the home building process as well as all that goes into that.
I currently maintain a contractors license in MS and TN for the Home Building, Plumbing, and HVAC trades. Because of my diverse background and experience I am considered by many to be an excellent troubleshooter. I often receive calls from clients, loan underwriters, appraisers, real estate agents and other home inspectors, when they have questions pertaining to houses.
